What to expect before, during and after treatment
Before your session, you will be asked to remove your shoes and any sharp objects, such as belt buckles or keys, from your pockets. there's no need to disrobe, but you will be asked to remove jackets or bulky sweaters so that you can receive full benefits. Your doctor will determine the duration and intensity of your treatment. As with any massage, after a session you'll be advised to drink plenty of water to help remove toxins and wastes that have been released during treatment.

Is hydrotherapy right for everyone?
There are very few situations where your Doctor will advise you not to have hydrotherapy treatments. Contraindications are similar to the guideline for hands-on massage. Patients with high blood pressure, heart conditions, circulatory conditions, phlebitis, varicose veins, swollen joints, acute inflammation, severe bruising, skin infections, contagious diseases, pain radiating down the arms or legs, or high temperatures should have physician's approval prior to treatment.
