THE INSTRUCTORS
Jack Cowden, Exercise Physiologist and Conditioning Coach
Co-Owner of Morpheus Fitness, Jack Cowden is a degreed and nationally certified personal fitness coach who has experience in the areas of weight loss management, muscular endurance and strength training, cardiovascular fitness, rehabilitation, preventative health, disabilities, nutrition education, and sport specific fitness. He has a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Conditioning and Nutrition from Ursinus College and received his national certification in Personal Fitness from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
He has spent his last several years working for On the Ball Fitness a home based training company outside of Philadelphia helping to develop individualized weight loss, fitness and nutritional plans and implementing them with clients. He has also worked at Greate Bay Fitness in Somers Point, New Jersey as a Fitness and Nutrition consultant and worked alongside members to help them reach their wellness goals. Recently Jack and his wife both left their careers to begin the ultimate fitness experience focused on strictly the client, achieving results and education. They both strongly believe that with an active lifestyle, proper eating habits, and guidance and motivation that anyone can accomplish their goals.
His approach to working with clients is an active, goal oriented, personalized and educational relationship. With an arsenal of training techniques and strategies he is not satisfied until all of your health and wellness goals are met. With his experience and education he believes strongly in the individual and body and will work with you to conquer all of your wellness goals!
Carol Cowden, Exercise Physiologist
Co-owner of Morpheus Fitness, Carol Cowden has over ten years experience in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and manager. She has a BFA in Dance Education; two Master’s degrees in Business Administration/Marketing and Arts Administration; is a nationally certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise and Aerobic and Fitness Association of America; and is a nationally certified group fitness instructor through AFFA.
She had spent her last two years working as the Director of Sales and Programs for Tilton Fitness in New Jersey. In this position Carol designed and implemented fitness and aquatics programming, personal trained, taught group exercise classes, and managed both the Sales and Fitness Departments. Prior to being at Tilton Carol personal trained and taught classes in both small studios and large corporate gyms.
Carol and her husband have combined their knowledge and experience to design a template for the ultimate personal training and weight management program. After many years of never being completely satisfied with the programming offered at both large and small gyms they decided it was time to begin their own company. Morpheus Fitness provides its clients with the education, guidance, an individualized attention that they need to fulfill their goals and to develop lifelong exercise and eating habits that will keep them healthy for the rest of their lives. The programs that we design for our clients our safe and results oriented. Exercise and weight management we believe are two necessary components in the quest to achieving health and wellness.

All Personal Training Sessions are 60 minutes
