Dr. Elliot Diamond, Podiatric Physician/Acupuncturist offers a unique blend of medicine, synthesizing Oriental wisdom with contemporary Podiatric, pain management and sports medicine techniques. He specializes in the Toyo Hari Japanese acupuncture style, being trained by the “Blind Acupuncturists of Japan”. In addition to his strong Oriental Medicine background, Dr. Diamond has published a textbook on muscle testing and corrective exercise as well many other articles and educational materials. COMPUTERIZED GAIT (walking) and
FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS using the TOG GAITSCAN
The Tog GaitScan analyzes static stance (standing still), walking and running. It presents a detailed 2D analysis of walking patterns and 3D vies of walking forces. In addition, the TOG system will also analyze the diffeneces between the right and left sides, showing areas of postural and walking imbalances. This valuable information will assist us in making you a customized orthotic to favorably adjust your walking pattern and correct your posture, allieviabling not only foot pain, but back and neck pain as well.
